Delegation of Saxion University of Applied Sciences

On the morning of 10 September 2019, Janco Bonnink, director of International Office Saxion, with his two colleagues of Saxion University of Applied Sciences visited our college. Li Hua, Associate Dean of the College, and Biao Guo, Deputy Director, met with them at room C302, Yuxian Building.

Li Hua firstly extended his welcome to Mr. Janco and the visiting delegation, and then introduced the basic situation of the College from the aspects of its running scale, discipline setting, scientific research, international exchange and cooperation. He said both sides have reached a preliminary intention for cooperation at the early stage of full communication and exchanges, and hoped this visit would further promote both friendship, cooperation, jointly enhance students and teachers exchange, to realize programs of cooperation as soon as possible.

Mr. Janco thanked the College for the hospitality. He briefly introduced the subject setting, cultivation system, enrollment and employment of Saxon university of Applied Sciences, and also talked about the cooperation with some Chinese universities, finally, he hoped both sides could establish academic cooperative relationship to promote the development of exchange programs.

During the meeting, both sides also exchanged views respectively on the implementation details of 3+1 joint training project, undergraduate students and teachers exchange and other programs.

Saxion University of Applied Sciences has a rich history - its roots can be traced back to 1875. The quality of education at Saxion is monitored by the Dutch Ministry of Education. It is one of the largest institutions of higher education in the Netherlands, with close to 27,000 students. Saxion University of Applied Sciences has three campuses in the East of the Netherlands - one campus in each of the three Dutch cities of Deventer, Enschede and Apeldoorn.
